Business Casual Breakfast Series: A Look Inside the Cannabis Industry

Join Federation’s Business and Professionals Division for a morning panel discussion with professionals from all sides of the budding cannabis industry; investment, legislation, and distribution.

Munch on a delicious kosher breakfast and delve into the weeds of this high-stakes industry as you surround yourself with Atlanta’s growing professionals.

There will be no day-of registrations or walk-ins. Registration closes on Tuesday, March 22. Proof of vaccination required.

Greg is Senior Director of Retail Tenant Representation and Principal based in the Atlanta office of Franklin Street, a full service commercial real estate firm. He manages a team of professionals who oversee the growth and expansion of retailers, restaurants, and other occupiers across the southeastern United States.

Elected in 2018, Mike Wilensky represents Georgia's 79th State House District in North Dekalb County.

Mike Wilensky

Mike Wilensky was born and raised in the Sandy Springs/Dunwoody area and is a graduate of North Springs High School. He has two wonderful daughters. Mike lives in Dunwoody and has a small business, a serious injury/wrongful death law practice. Mike graduated from the NCAA Football National Champions - University of Georgia, and earned his J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law. Mike's current house district is House District 79. Due to re-districting, next year MIke will be the incumbent in House District 80, which is slightly different from House District 79, but still only covers the northwest corner of DeKalb County - (Dunwoody, Doraville and small part of Chamblee.)
Mike is currently the only Jewish person in the whole Georgia Legislature and sits on 4 House Committees:
- Judiciary
- Regulated Industries
- Budget and Fiscal Affairs Oversight
- Intragovernmental Coordination
And, last year Mike was appointed to the Georgia Commission on the Holocaust by State House Speaker Ralston.

Aaron Lopez

Aaron Lopez joined Trulieve as its first Director of Government Affairs. Prior to joining Trulieve, Lopez was the founder of Political Capital LLC, which has worked with leading clients in multiple industries to provide insight and a voice in the legislative and political processes at international, federal, and state levels. He has served as head of government affairs across various industries including pharmaceutical, hospitality, oil and gas, and financial services. For the past five years, Lopez has worked with state agencies and legislators in Virginia and West Virginia on the creation of medical cannabis laws.
