Ecosystem Meeting: March 2022

March 9, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Free

As we continue to navigate these challenging times, creating and maintaining respectful cultures for our workplaces and communal spaces is imperative to our resilience as individual professionals and Jewish organizations. Ta’amod Founding Executive Director, Nicole Nevarez will guide us through an examination of the primary indicator of healthy, thriving organizational cultures – psychological safety. What is psychological safety? How do we foster and maintain it? Why is it so critical to organizational health and employee well-being? Through a lens of Jewish wisdom, we will explore universal themes around respect and equity and introduce tangible tools you can bring back to your organizations. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about all of Ta’amod’s work and how it can further serve and enrich the Atlanta Jewish community.

Nicole Nevarez is the founding Executive Director of Ta’amod: Stand Up!

A Jewish educator, trainer and facilitator, Nicole has held leadership positions for local and National Jewish organizations and nonprofit NYC theaters. Most recently, she served as New York Director for Moving Traditions, a Jewish communal organization committed to teen wellness work through a gender and Jewish lens. In addition to her work with Ta’amod, she provides independent consulting as well as program design and delivery to mission-critical organizations to support them with positive internal culture. As a coach, Nicole believes that when we do the work to reflect on ourselves and our organizations, we have the power to impact deep systemic change. She lives in San Diego, CA with her partner in life, Rabbi Jason Nevarez their two children and Sadie the dog.

Ta’amod is grateful to receive support from the Jewish Women’s Foundation of Atlanta.

This event is offering both in-person and virtual options. In-person attendance will be at the Selig Center – 1440 Spring St NW. If you sign up for the virtual attendance, you will be sent a link for Zoom upon registration.
