Congregation Ner Tamid (Reform)

Located in Marietta/West Cobb, evacuees in need of Kol Nidre and Yom Kippur tickets are welcome at Congregation Ner Tamid. For seating availability and security reasons, please contact the synagogue in advance, via email or by calling (678) 264-8575.  

Congregation Or VeShalom (Sephardic)

Jewish Family and Career Services
Those who need help getting through the stress, anxiety and trauma of Hurricane Florence can call and talk to an intake person at (770) 677-9474. The intake team can also help connect callers to JF&CS’s clinical and other services.

Marcus JCC Atlanta

MJCCA will be offering guest passes to anyone hosting hurricane evacuees in their home, as well as their guests. The Zaban Park campus offers swimming, basketball, food, buy food, gym and more. To obtain the guest passes, please come to the front desk. Visit atlantajcc.org for quick links to hours and exercise schedules.

The Davis Academy

The doors of The Davis Academy, Atlanta’s Reform Jewish Day School, are open to families seeking support, including schooling for their children. Please contact Davona Benzel for assistance.

The Epstein School

The Epstein School joins the greater Jewish community to come together in supporting those who may require assistance. Evacuees in need of resources, including possible housing and schooling, please send an email to Laura Blaskett.

The Breman Museum

The Breman Museum is offering free admission for all Hurricane Florence evacuees with a valid ID from NC, SC, or VA.

The Temple (Reform)

There is a cadre of volunteers who would be delighted to deliver soup and challah to temporary residences in the Atlanta area, in anticipation of Shabbat or the Holy Days.
