Culinary & Arts Tour of Israel | February 23-29, 2020
A Jewish journey for travelers who like to eat great food!
Chef Todd Ginsberg | Susan & Ray Schoenbaum
Israel is an incredible melting pot of cultures and ethnicities, combining the foodways of North Africa, Eastern Europe, Yemen, Iraq, Syria and the Sephardic world. On this culinary and arts journey we’ll eat, drink, and travel first class (all 5-star hotels) as we sample the best of Israel’s restaurants and vineyards and meet its innovative chefs. We’ll also explore Israel’s vibrant art scene in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
Led by chef Todd Ginsberg, owner of Atlanta restaurants The General Muir, Yalla, and Woods Chapel, along with Atlanta restaurateurs Susan and Ray Schoenbaum, we’ll explore the fresh food and inventive fusions that Israel does best. You’ll experience an interactive olive oil and spice workshop, an Israeli Terroir tasting, a challah baking workshop and more!
Starting up north and working our way south to Tel-Aviv and Jerusalem, we’ll explore Israel’s shouks and marketplaces, and meet some of the people who’ve made Israeli food one of the world’s hottest cuisines. Whether it’s your first time in Israel or your tenth, this is the culinary and arts experience you have been waiting for!
