September 23 — Volunteer with Repair the World Atlanta, a Federation-supported organization dedicated to making service a defining part of Jewish life for young adults. Work with SWEEAC, the Southwest Ecumenical Emergency Assistance Center, which serves more than 48,000 high poverty families.
October 25 — Travel to Chattanooga for the day, visit the famous Paperclips Project, a unique memorial to victims of the Holocaust created by in 1998 by students at Whitwell Middle School.
November 20 — Meet Sasha Friedman, the Director of Camp Szarvas, a Jewish overnight camp in Hungary run by the JDC, that’s builds Jewish identity for young Jews from around the world.
December 17 – Get inspired by Jenny Levison, the beloved chef/owner of Souper Jenny. She’ll tell how her Zadie Project honors the memory of her grandfather and partners with JF&CS to address the issue of food insecurity.
