Learn how Sasha Friedman, Director of Camp Szarvas in Hungary, helps bring Jewish possibilities to life and create global Jewish connections for children around the world!
Every summer, around 1,500 Jewish campers from over 20 countries attend Camp Szarvas. For some campers, being sent to this camp is how they find out they are Jewish, for others, it’s a way to share and celebrate experiences with their Jewish peers from around the world. Camp Szarvas which has served over 25,000 campers since 1990 and is a great example of how to bring Jews of all backgrounds together. Read more about the impact of the camp here.

Kosher-style dinner provided
Meet Souper Jenny owner, Jenny Levison and hear her story about philanthropy and her restaurants. You’ll also learn about the JC&CS kosher food pantry, the only kosher food pantry in the Southeast. In 2018, the kosher food pantry provided 22,000 pounds of food to 2,100 people.
Then, enjoy a farm-fresh dinner provided by Souper Jenny herself.
Optional: bring a donation for the food pantry.
