Are Teens Addicted to Social Media? Why All the Meanness Online? JumpSpark’s Navigating Parenthood series is asking important questions about teens and technology. While the long-term effects of social media are still unclear, Navigating Parenthood is creating a space for teens and parents to wrestle with these questions together at two upcoming events, and one event for Jewish Professionals. All events feature the work of Scilla Andreen, producer of the award-winning documentary Screenagers, and founder of Indieflix. She is bringing two original documentaries to spark conversations and empower people to find healthier ways to consume and interact with social media and technology.
For Jewish Professionals: Wednesday, November 20, 10am – 12 noon | Roam Dunwoody | 1155 Mount Vernon Hwy NE Suite 800 Atlanta, GA 30338 Andreen is also leading a workshop for Jewish professionals on social media and bullying as a part of JumpSpark and Federation Innovation’s Professional Coworking Series. jumpsparkatl.org/pro-social-media-workshop.
