December Together: A Conversation by and for Interfaith Couples about Navigating the December Holidays (Online)
The December holidays can bring both joy and challenges for interfaith/multi-cultural/Jewish& couples and families. This engaging program offers a supportive space for multi-cultural couples-regardless of whether this is your first holiday together or you’ve been doing this for decades-to explore how to approach conversations and decisions around holiday traditions and celebrations.
Join us for an enlightening panel discussion with two multi-cultural couples. Our panelists will share their personal experiences and insights on navigating the holidays, offering practical strategies and tips on integrating diverse beliefs and customs. They’ll also be time for Q&A and interactive conversation to help you figure out your own holiday plans, address any concerns, and connect with others facing similar dynamics.
What is Embark?
It’s an opportunity for you to build community with other couples in their 20s & 30s while experimenting with how Judaism can be meaningful to you. With groups meeting across many cities, including Atlanta, you’ll be able to get to know other couples in the same situation as you, plus meet with a mentor!
The Temple’s Israel Trip for Interfaith Couples
Sponsored by Leah and Richard Davis, this is the third cohort of a trip designed to introduce young interfaith couples to Israel. Led by Rabbi Loren Filson Lapidus, we will explore numerous parts of Israel, have conversations about how this relates to our respective faith traditions and families, and make new friends within our Temple community.
