Jewish Innovation Fund

Back to 2018 Integrated Community Campaign

The Jewish Innovation Fund is an exciting new opportunity to accelerate Jewish innovation in Atlanta, to incubate and invest in new ideas, programs, projects and technologies that reimagine and broaden Jewish outreach and engagement. We will provide infrastructure and support to current partners, synagogues, start-ups, and dreamers capable of cultivating new, creative and scalable prototypes.

Past innovation micro-grants have jump-started some of the programs and organizations benefiting Jewish Atlanta today – Atlanta Jewish Music Festival, Jewish Kids Groups, and a revamped and re-imagined Senior Day at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta to name a few.

IT'S TIME TO GROW THIS EFFORT FROM A FEW SMALL INVESTMENTS TO MORE BIG INVESTMENTS AND SEE WHAT WE CAN REALLY DO.

BECAUSE our community must evolve and adapt as Jewish life continues to do so.
BECAUSE we know that investments in innovation drive change – for good.
BECAUSE by bringing people together to think creatively and differently, we can build
an energized, responsive, and relevant model 21st century Jewish community that embraces the future.

THE INNOVATION FUND IS A DIFFERENT WAY TO INVEST IN OUR COMMUNITY.

Entrepreneurs: Entrepreneurs see new solutions to age-old problems. And they make things happen. The Innovation Fund will encourage this mindset and create places and spaces for this innovation to flourish. We’ll invite new ideas generated locally or nationally to grow through accelerator programs and mentorships. For the most promising ideas, we will provide much-needed operating support to allow programs to mature.

Intrapreneurs: The Innovation Fund is designed to use the tried and true tools from the innovation community to grow existing organizations that are the bedrock of our community. From social services to cultural programs to education, new ideas and approaches are emerging every day, and we want to equip our organizations to embrace these ideas and generate their own.
