Please join Jewish Women’s Fund of Atlanta for “Human Trafficking: A Jewish Issue.”
March 28 | 7:30 pm | Congregation B’nai Torah
Every human being has the right to make her own decisions about her body, life, and future. No one should be forced to work or engage in a sex act against their will. As Jews, it is our duty to eliminate this modern-day slavery. Join us as we come together as a community to learn from experts in the field.
We are thrilled to welcome Lauren Hersh, former prosecutor and national expert on sex trafficking, who will address human trafficking as a Jewish issue, and Ouleye Ndoye Warnock, Senior Human Trafficking Fellow for the Office of Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms. Together, we will examine the patterns of exploitation, the tactics traffickers use, and the impact sex trafficking as on the Jewish community. We will also discuss strategies for combating this insidious crime.
