Pursuant to the Second Amended and Restated Bylaws of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, Inc. (the “Corporation”), Members may nominate Members for election to the position of Trustee-at-Large pursuant to the procedures laid out below. Notwithstanding that provision, the Corporation anticipates enacting the Third Amended and Restated Bylaws of the Corporation, which will be effective prior to the election of Trustees-at-Large, whereby, the Member nomination procedure will no longer be utilized.

Trustees-at-Large may be nominated by petition by Members. Any nominating petitions must be submitted in writing to the Secretary at least ten (10) days before such meeting of Members and shall contain the signatures of at least one hundred (100) Members in support of each nominee therein named.

I want to thank this year’s Nominating Committee for all of their hard work: Howard Feinsand, Chair, Ronnie Agami, Liann Baron, Vicki Benjamin, Carol Cooper, Renee Evans, Avery Kastin, Howard Katz, Doug Kuniansky, Carolyn Oppenheimer, Betty Sunshine, and Joel Marks, Chair of the Board. I look forward to seeing everyone one at the Annual Meeting on Tuesday, June 7 at 7:15pm.
