Parents — Building Resilience: Learning from Failure, with comedian Pamela Schuller.

It’s demanding being a parent or guardian, caring not only for your own health but that of your family. Our community is grappling with a growing number of teens with mental health issues, disabilities, and complex family dynamics.

During this special performance and workshop for parents and guardians — presented by BeWellATL, a JF&CS initiative on teen mental health, and Pamela Schuller — you’ll explore how to support mental health and resilience in your teens. Pamela will share real-life stories from her experiences working with communities that have successfully (and unsuccessfully) created supportive environments for teens. We’ll take a deep dive into key topics such as understanding teen mental health challenges, building resilience, learning from setbacks, and implementing practical strategies. We’ll also discuss how to navigate common tension points and utilize available resources, all aimed at integrating wellness practices into the fabric of your family and community.

Together, we’ll equip you with the tools to support your teens’ mental health and overall well-being. Join us for this important conversation and leave with actionable insights to help your teen thrive.
