Welcome to Federation—where Jewish values meet visionary action to build a thriving, connected community in Atlanta and across the Jewish world.

Ensuring Care for All in Need
Federation stands as a beacon of support in life’s most challenging moments. Whether assisting families facing food insecurity, ensuring individuals with disabilities can access Jewish spaces, helping displaced Israelis rebuild after October 7, or supporting Holocaust survivors and seniors in need, we provide essential resources for compassionate care.

Jewish Education
Federation is committed to making Jewish education accessible to all. We support day schools, supplemental programs, Israel experiences, and lifelong learning opportunities that empower every individual to connect, grow, and engage with Jewish life.

Israel & Jews Worldwide
Our connection to Israel and Jewish communities worldwide remains unbreakable. Federation strengthens these ties by providing critical support, fostering deep relationships, and ensuring a vibrant Jewish future across the globe.

Jewish Engagement
At the heart of Jewish life lies the strength of community and deep, lasting connections. We ensure that every member of Jewish Atlanta—no matter their age or stage in life—has meaningful opportunities to engage, build relationships, and thrive within a supportive and vibrant Jewish network.

Safety & Security
Federation is dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of Jewish Atlanta. Through proactive security initiatives, strategic partnerships, and expert guidance, we protect our community’s institutions, events, and gathering spaces. By investing in preparedness, training, and crisis response, we create a secure environment where every Jewish person can live, gather, and thrive with confidence.
A Legacy of Giving
Since 1906, the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta has served as a cornerstone of philanthropy and leadership, dedicated to building a strong, vibrant, and secure Jewish future. In a post-October 7th world, where antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiment are heightened, our commitment to ensuring a thriving and resilient Jewish community is stronger than ever. We foster a warm and welcoming community for Jewish professionals, families, and individuals of all Jewish backgrounds and affiliations.
A Commitment To Our Future
We envision a thriving, connected Jewish Atlanta where every Jew and their loved ones can access community, timeless wisdom, global peoplehood, and meaningful ways to do good in the world. Guided by our values—compassion, diversity, generosity, commitment to Jewish life, and strong support for Israel and global Jewry—we strengthen Jewish identity and belonging.
Federation plays a vital role in meeting the evolving needs of Jewish Atlanta. By aligning community planning with philanthropic investment, we support individuals and families, sustain key institutions, and build a vibrant, interconnected Jewish future.
As philanthropic champions, we harness generosity to nurture Jewish life today and for generations to come.
Supporting Our Partner Organizations Every Step of the Way

The Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta proudly supports more than 70 organizations locally, in Israel, and around the world—strengthening Jewish life, providing critical care, and building vibrant, resilient communities. Through strategic funding, thoughtful planning, and expert guidance, we empower our partners to dream bigger and do more. From feeding Holocaust survivors to inspiring the next generation of Jewish leaders, each organization we support contributes to a collective impact that’s far greater than any one of us could achieve alone. Our core local partners—The Breman Museum, Hillels of Georgia, Jewish Family & Career Services (JF&CS), Jewish HomeLife, and the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA)—stand at the heart of Jewish Atlanta, each playing a vital role in shaping a stronger, more connected community. Together, we’re ensuring a thriving Jewish future—locally and globally.
Federation is committed to ensuring that our Jewish community has the mental health resources and support it needs. One of the ways we’ve done that is by partnering with JF&CS and the MJCCA in a “play therapy” initiative which is a type of therapy primarily designed for children and young adolescents. JF&CS and MJCCA collaborated to pilot this program and it was funded by a grant from Federation’s Core Partner Allocations Committee. The mental health program provides play therapy for MJCCA preschool kids, coaching for their parents, and professional development for their teachers. In an ever-changing world with rampant antisemitism, mental health is more important than ever, which is why Federation funded and supported the development of this program.
