Major Gifts Officer

intends to play a bold and creative role. The Philanthropy team is looking for a motivated, flexible, detail-oriented and proactive Major Gifts Officer to join our efforts as we expand the ways we engage with donors in the community.

You will work with a passionate team of Federation professionals to increase the impact of the organization’s work here in Atlanta, in Israel and the world. You will collaborate with our key donors and partner organizations on a common agenda—guided by the principles of collective impact—to share best practices, build trust, and foster strategic partnerships. You will be responsible for a broad range of initiatives and projects to advance our fundraising efforts through collective and individual major donor opportunities to fulfill strategic philanthropic endeavors and increase total philanthropy through our
Community Campaign including Partners Fund, Targeted Philanthropy, Special Projects, and the Atlanta Jewish Foundation.

Donor Services Associate

The Atlanta Jewish Foundation manages over $400 million dollars in charitable assets. The Atlanta Jewish Foundation’s assets include those of individual philanthropists, prominent family foundations, and partner organizations. We are poised for significant growth and need to grow our team. The Donor Officer is entrusted to advise and guide the community’s philanthropists in their grantmaking. Chief Financial Officer

As a member of the organization’s Executive Team, the CFO leads all financial operations of the organization, including a Foundation, a self-funded health trust, and a $6M Student Scholarship organization along with many initiatives and programs.

Guided by the organization’s strategic and evolving priorities, the CFO makes actionable recommendations on strategy to ensure effective and efficient financial and operational systems and processes are in place to support and grow the organization.

This position oversees internal operating departments within Finance & Accounting, Donor Services, and possibly Facilities.
