About JBaby
JBaby is a unique initiative of PJ Library that helps expecting parents and families with babies ages 0–2 find community, trusted resources, and meaningful ways to connect during the early years.
If PJ Library is where Jewish journeys begin, JBaby is where you take your very first steps. Growing your family—and figuring out who you are in this new stage of life—can be joyful, overwhelming, exciting, and everything in between.
Through JBaby, you can:
- Meet other parents who are in a similar stage of life
- Build local friendships through small groups and gatherings
- Connect with experts and get practical information
- Explore Jewish life and community in ways that feel meaningful to your family
- Sign up for a PJ Library book subscription and receive free, Jewish-themed books for kids 0-8
JBaby welcomes all families, including interfaith, LGBTQ+, adoptive, multiracial, single-parent, and families of all abilities.
Not ready to join a program? No problem. Sign up to hear about what’s happening. You will be enrolled in PJ Library. Tell us a little about yourself and we’ll keep you in the loop about JBaby and PJ Library.
JBaby offers small, welcoming groups and fun pop-up programs that bring parents of little ones together. You’ll share stories, learn from experts, and enjoy special moments with your baby—building lasting connections along the way.

Looking for opportunities closer to where you live? JBaby can help you host a gathering by providing ideas, planning support, and inviting nearby families with children the same age as yours to join.
Host a small gathering – usually 4-8 families – like a playground meetup, coffee, Shabbat picnic, holiday activity, or something entirely your own. No experience or big social network needed, just a desire to connect.
Not every connection happens in a small group series.
Throughout the year, JBaby hosts many different events and gatherings for families with babies and young children across Atlanta—from seasonal celebrations and music to outdoor meetups, Jewish experiences, and opportunities to connect with other parents.
