Providing Financial & Daily Support
Many survivors face financial hardships. We help cover basic needs such as home care, prescription assistance, dental care, medical assistance, medical equipment, hearing aids, home safety, transportation, home-delivered meals, grocery food gift cards, emergency assistance, and assisted living and nursing home support.
Ensuring We Meet the Needs as Survivors Age
Approximately 52% of the supported survivors are on Medicaid and 47% receive food stamps. Grocery gift cards for low-income survivors have a large positive impact. The area of greatest need is homecare. As survivors age, their needs increase or change and require a higher level of support. Many survivors cannot be left alone or need help after hospitalization. Providing homecare allows survivors to avoid institutional settings that can be triggering.
Fostering Community & Connection
To help reduce social isolation, we offer engaging programs for survivors to feel valued and connected.
