Caring For Those In Need

Dignity. Compassion. Support when it’s needed most.

In times of crisis—whether personal, communal, or global—the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta ensures that no one is left behind. From Holocaust survivors and isolated seniors to families struggling with food insecurity and individuals with disabilities, Federation is a vital lifeline of care and connection.

When someone in our community faces hardship, Federation steps in with the resources and relationships to make a difference. We support a safety net of services that help people live with dignity, independence, and hope—no matter the circumstances. Whether it’s delivering meals, making Jewish spaces more accessible, or offering trauma support for displaced Israelis, we are there—because that’s what community means.

Where Compassion Meets Action
1

Support Holocaust Survivors with Dignity

Through the Holocaust Survivor Support Fund, we ensure survivors in need can live securely with honor and dignity—by providing food support, meals, home care, and essential services.

2

Address Food Insecurity

We help thousands of individuals and families access kosher food and household necessities through our partners, including JF&CS’s Kosher Food Pantry.

3

Expand Access for People with Disabilities

Through JAccess, we promote disability inclusion across Jewish Atlanta—making programs, spaces, and services more welcoming and accessible for all.

4

Care for Seniors

The AgeWell initiative helps older adults maintain independence and connection through coordinated care, transportation, and engagement programs.
