Community Camp Ambassador

The Engagement team is looking for a motivated, flexible, detail-oriented and proactive associate to join our team as we expand the opportunities around Jewish camping.
Reporting to the VP Engagement you will work with a passionate team of Federation professionals to increase the impact of the organization’s work.

HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR

The Administrative team is looking for a motivated, flexible, detail-oriented, and proactive HR professional to join our efforts as we expand the ways we engage with the community.
The Director of Human Resources position will provide leadership and oversight for all aspects of human resource management. This position will be responsible for collaborating with executive management to align all human resource initiatives with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.

Sr Development Officer

Reporting to the Chief Philanthropy Officer, you will manage specific donor portfolios as assigned, identify and meet with potential new donors to increase involvement and support for the Annual Campaign and other fundraising initiatives, identify natural partners, develop relationships, and steward gift development both independently and in partnership with other departments, develop and implement appropriate fundraising strategies to increase the annual campaign and total financial resource development employing a variety of fundraising techniques that include face-to-face solicitations, fundraising events, calling sessions, and written communications.

Major Gifts Officer

The Philanthropy team is looking for a motivated, flexible, detail-oriented and proactive major gifts officer to join our efforts as we expand the ways we engage with donors in the community. Develop a fundraising and stewardship strategy for all major donors and major donor prospects and serve as the relationship manager for an assigned portfolio. Create strategic plans for each assigned donor and update donor information on an ongoing basis. Identify and meet with potential new high net worth donors to increase involvement and support for the Community Campaign and other fundraising initiatives.

Jewish Abilities Alliance Manager

Under the supervision of the Director of Community Planning and Impact and in collaboration with the Jewish Abilities Alliance Committee, the JAA Manager will oversee all activities of the Jewish Abilities Alliance to promote the mission of the JAA, which is to create a more welcoming Jewish community. This includes, but is not limited to, community-based planning with the JAA Partner Group, community trainings, management of the JAA website and parent listservs, and advocating for the inclusion of individuals with disabilities and their families.

Assistant Controller

The Assistant Controller will lead day-to-day accounting operations for the
Federation, Foundation and Health Insurance Trust. The Assistant Controller will ensure the accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions to support donors, internal departments, and external users of financial data. The Assistant Controller will continually strive for Operational Excellence in the performance of the department’s tasks and the quality of the financial records and will provide superior internal and external customer service. The Assistant Controller works closely with the Controller and CFO/CAO.

Family Impact Associate

PJ Library is a powerful outreach tool that aims to build connections and communities for Jewish families throughout Greater Atlanta. An inclusive program for families of all Jewish backgrounds, PJ Library in Atlanta seeks a creative, friendly, detail-oriented, and community-focused professional to create impactful community and neighborhood-based experiences for families with kids under 12.

Campaign Director

Reporting to the Chief Philanthropy Officer, you will work with a passionate team of Federation professionals to increase the impact of the organization’s work here in Atlanta, in Israel and abroad.

ALEF Fund Manager

The ALEF Fund provides scholarships to pre-k, kindergarten, primary or secondary public school students who wish to attend participating Jewish preschools, day schools and high schools. Our guiding principle is to improve the affordability of Jewish education by awarding scholarship dollars to eligible students.
Directs all aspects of the ALEF Fund operations including advocacy, allocations, budgeting, board relations, compliance, fundraising, management of staff, marketing (social media, direct mail, sponsorships and outreach) and regular updates for the website.

Community Training and Inclusion Coordinator

Under the supervision of the JAA Manager and in collaboration with the Jewish Abilities Alliance Committee, manages a Jewish education inclusion program to support children with disabilities in Jewish supplementary schools and preschools. Facilitates JAA Sensitivity and Awareness Training Curriculum in various agencies/settings and manages the “Train the Trainer” program.

JumpSpark Executive Director

The Executive Director of JumpSpark will lead the community-wide Atlanta Jewish Teen Initiative (AJTI), which is completing its first year. We seek an enthusiastic leader, bridge-builder, and innovator who is excited by JumpSpark’s mission to connect teens through immersive, interest-based experiences, inspired by a Jewish lens, and who is passionate about developing, nurturing, and scaling new approaches to teen engagement that will reverse the increasing trend of teens opting out of Jewish life in their high school years.
