Senior Director, Places, Journeys, Welcoming

JFGA seeks to hire a Senior Director of Jewish Places, Jewish Journeys, and Radical Welcoming to join the Community Planning and Impact team. Reporting to the VP of Community Impact and working collaboratively with lay leaders and volunteers, this position will provide leadership and support for the planning and allocations functions, and program / portfolio management for the Places, Journeys, and Welcoming strategies and portfolio of investments. This includes overseeing grants provided to external organizations, internal programs managed directly by JFGA, and the development of new initiatives and programs which may be internal or external. Additionally, this position will oversee the Engagement team (which currently consists of six program-oriented positions focused on engaging particular demographic groups) and will directly supervise the Engagement Director.

Director, Global Jewish Peoplehood

Reporting to the VP of Community Impact and working collaboratively with lay leaders and volunteers, this position will provide leadership and support for the planning and allocations functions, and program / portfolio management for the Israel and Overseas strategies and portfolio of investments.  This includes overseeing grants provided to external organizations, internal programs managed directly by JFGA, and the development of new initiatives and programs which may be internal or external.

Community Camp Ambassador

The Engagement team is looking for a motivated, flexible, detail-oriented and proactive associate to join our team as we expand the opportunities around Jewish camping.
Reporting to the VP Engagement you will work with a passionate team of Federation professionals to increase the impact of the organization’s work.

Senior VP and Managing Director of Atlanta Jewish Foundation

Senior Vice President and Managing Director will lead the Atlanta Jewish
Foundation and will be responsible for its the overall growth and management. Areas of responsibility will include day-to-day oversight of the Foundation, managing Federation’s planned giving efforts, and developing and maintaining the Foundation’s philanthropic advisory suite of products and services. The Foundation is designed to enable multiple forms of philanthropy and donor-recommended giving through and to the Jewish and broader community.

ALEF Fund Manager 

The ALEF Fund was established by Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta in 2008 in response to new state legislation when Georgia’s General Assembly passed the Education Expense Credit law to provide families in Georgia with access to better educational opportunities for their children. The ALEF Fund provides scholarships to pre-k, kindergarten, primary or secondary public school students who wish to attend participating Jewish preschools, day schools and high schools. Our guiding principle is to improve the affordability of Jewish education by awarding scholarship dollars to eligible students.

Senior Accountant – Foundation

Under the supervision of the Director of Finance and working closely with the Atlanta Jewish Foundation team, the Senior Accountant – Foundation will oversee the accounting relating to the Foundation, which includes Donor Advised Funds, supporting foundations, and restricted and custodial funds, totaling approximately $450M. The Foundation is in a period of exciting growth with the goal to double in size over the next decade.
