Senior Vice President and Managing Director will lead the Atlanta Jewish
Foundation and will be responsible for its the overall growth and management. Areas of responsibility will include day-to-day oversight of the Foundation, managing Federation’s planned giving efforts, and developing and maintaining the Foundation’s philanthropic advisory suite of products and services. The Foundation is designed to enable multiple forms of philanthropy and donor-recommended giving through and to the Jewish and broader community.
As Jewish Atlanta continues to boom, Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta intends to play a bold and creative role. PJ Library is a powerful outreach tool that aims to build connections and communities for Jewish families throughout Greater Atlanta. An inclusive program for families of all Jewish backgrounds, PJ Library in Atlanta seeks three outgoing, motivated, and networked parents to create new, barrier-free Jewish experiences, expand communities, and impart relevant Jewish content to Jewish families with young children. This position works with a passionate team at Federation to strengthen family-friendly Jewish Atlanta and partnerships for the community. Position runs through July 31 with possibility for extension.
The Database Management team is looking for a
motivated, flexible, detail-oriented, and proactive professional to join our efforts as we expand the ways we engage with donors in the community. The CRM Data Analyst Associate analyzes and manages constituent records in our Blackbaud CRM system to ensure that data integrity and best practices are followed by staff. This position is responsible for running and reviewing reports to identify data quality issues, investigate root causes of the issues, and work individually and with others to implement corrective action.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Jewish Journeys, Places and Welcoming, you will work with a passionate team of Federation professionals to create new doorways and pathways to Jewish engagement. You will collaborate with our partners on a common agenda, guided by the principles of collective impact, to share best practices, build trust, and foster strategic partnerships. You will serve as a wayfinder for newcomers to the region and help advance the message that there is a role and a place for everyone in the Atlanta Jewish community.
Under the supervision of the Controller and Assistant Controller and working closely with a variety of Federation departments, funds and programs, the Senior Accountant – Operations will oversee the Federation’s day-to-day accounting, including its subsidiaries. The Senior Accountant – Operations will have the primary responsibilities of maintaining the general ledger and preparing timely and accurate financial statements for internal and external use. The Federation is in a period of exciting growth with current consolidated net assets of approximately $400 million.
The Engagement Manager is an integral team member of a growing organization working to rethink teen education and engagement in the Atlanta Jewish community. JumpSpark is part of the Jewish Teen Education and Engagement Funder Collaborative, a nationwide network working together to develop, nurture, and scale new approaches to teen engagement. In this role, the Engagement Manager will have the opportunity to think creative, new ideas; look at a “big picture” view of community and education trends; and benefit from the wealth of shared knowledge and philanthropic funds dedicated to the future of Jewish teen education and engagement. The candidate should be familiar with the Jewish education and engagement landscape, players, and trends and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, innovative, and experimental work environment with general supervision.
