  • Stipend available to help cover childcare costs
  • Coffee, beverages, and snacks provided at every session

One guiding principle that feels especially relevant is the idea that ‘Kol Yisrael arevim zeh bazeh’—we are all responsible for one another. This reminds us that inclusion isn’t about charity or accommodation—it’s about a shared obligation to create Jewish spaces where everyone, including people with disabilities, can participate fully and belong deeply.

This is more than just a learning experience—it’s an opportunity to shape the future of Jewish inclusion, build lasting connections, and take part in a pioneering initiative for families like yours.

Will sessions be in person or on Zoom?

All sessions will take place in person in Sandy Springs. This format allows for deeper relationship-building, shared experiences, and hands-on learning. The in-person setting also supports the creation of a warm and supportive community among participants.

Will food be provided? Is it kosher?

Yes! Coffee, beverages, and kosher snacks will be provided at each session. If you have specific dietary needs or allergies, you’ll have the opportunity to share that information on the application form.

Is childcare available?

While childcare is not provided on-site, we want to make participation as accessible as possible. A stipend is available to help offset the cost of childcare during sessions. Information on how to request this stipend will be shared with accepted participants.

Can both parents or caregivers attend?

Absolutely. While only one parent is required to attend, co-parents, partners, or spouses are welcome and encouraged to participate, if possible. Please indicate on your application if more than one adult in your household would like to attend.

Is there a cost to participate?

Thanks to generous support, this program is highly subsidized. We aim to remove financial barriers so families can fully participate. There is no cost to attend, though we ask for your full commitment to all six sessions.

Who should apply?

This program is ideal for Jewish parents or caregivers raising a child with a disability who are interested in learning, advocacy, and building a more inclusive Jewish future. You do not need to be affiliated with a synagogue or specific denomination to participate.
