“The couples we met and formed relationships with through JBaby helped me realize that my husband and I had so many wonderful couples to turn to throughout the incredible, but often daunting, process of expecting our first child. It provided us with a sense of comfort knowing that other future parents had similar questions and curiosities as us, and the guest speakers were wonderful resources to find those answers.”

“Connecting the Expecting was such a wonderful program. I really feel like we were able to bond with other local couples who are on the same journey as us and we have already become friends with some people in our cohort outside of the program. It will be great having our children grow up together and forging lifelong friendships.”

“The Connecting the Expecting Series was invaluable to us as second time parents! What an incredible grouping of speakers who each taught our group something valuable that will enrich our experience as we navigate the adventure to come. It has been so special to view this journey through a uniquely Jewish lens and meet others in the community who are expecting at the same time (and experiencing all the ups and downs of pregnancy). We even realized through this program that one of our neighbors is having a baby just weeks from our due date which will enable us to support one another through maternity leave. Shira did an excellent job of facilitating conversation and introducing us to impactful experts in relevant fields.”
