Safety & Security

A Safe Jewish Atlanta for All

The Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta is committed to protecting what matters most—our people. We work every day to ensure that Jewish life in Atlanta can thrive in safety and with confidence.

Through strategic investments, professional training, and expert guidance, Federation strengthens the physical security and emergency readiness of Jewish institutions across our community. Whether it’s a synagogue, school, or cultural event, your support ensures that Jewish Atlanta is prepared, protected, and resilient in the face of evolving threats.

We don’t wait for crisis to act—we invest in prevention, preparation, and peace of mind.

Secure Community Network

The Secure Community Network works to protect the Jewish community in Atlanta by enhancing security measures, providing training, and combating antisemitism to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all.

As one of the oldest and largest congregations in the U.S., Ahavath Achim frequently hosts high-profile events and dignitaries, making security a top priority. Thanks to the support of the LiveSecure/SCN network—made possible by the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta—we’ve strengthened our safety protocols, received critical threat assessments, and secured Homeland Security grants. We’re especially grateful to SCN’s local team, Brian Davis and Mile Brosas, for their tireless dedication to protecting our congregation and the broader Jewish community.
