In this month’s CEO Spotlight, Federation President & CEO, Renee Kutner, shares reflections from a powerful five-day solidarity journey to Israel with more than 40 community members. From meeting survivors of October 7 and former hostages to visiting communities rebuilding in the south and north, this mission offered a firsthand look at both the profound human cost of this war and the extraordinary resilience of the Israeli people. Along the way, we witnessed how Federation investments support trauma care, strengthen local leadership, and help communities recover and rebuild for the long term. Renee returned proud, inspired, and reminded that standing in solidarity means showing up, and staying committed for what comes next.
