Women’s Philanthropy and YLD Bring 450+ Women Together for a Powerful Evening
March 20, 2026

More than 450 women from across the Atlanta Jewish community gathered on March 10 at Congregation B’nai Torah for Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta’s annual Community Event for Women, hosted by Women’s Philanthropy and the Young Leadership Division.
From young women attending their first Federation event to leaders and longtime supporters, the room reflected the powerful legacy of Jewish women showing up for their community across generations. The evening was filled with warmth, pride, and a shared sense of purpose, a reminder that our community is strongest when women come together.
“This event is so important because it engages and reaches women from all over our community,” said Women’s Philanthropy President Arin Tritt. “It’s an opportunity to educate and connect women to Federation in a warm environment with a compelling keynote speaker focused on the importance and the joy of being Jewish.”
The evening celebrated the impact of women’s leadership, philanthropy, and connection in strengthening Jewish Atlanta today and for generations to come.
Federation President & CEO Renee Kutner spoke about the collective power of women’s leadership and the Federation’s role in responding to the evolving needs of the Jewish community.
Hilary Goldberg, speaking on behalf of the event’s co-chairs, encouraged attendees to continue strengthening the community through participation in Federation’s Annual Campaign.
“Jewish Atlanta and the Jewish world can’t wait,” Goldberg said. “Families who need support can’t wait. Jewish education for our children can’t wait. Israel can’t wait.”
The evening’s keynote speaker, journalist and host Danielle Robay, shared reflections on identity, curiosity, and meaningful conversation, encouraging attendees to lean into the joy and depth of Jewish life.
“To be Jewish is to question everything, not to weaken our faith, but to deepen it,” Robay said.
For many attendees, the night was especially meaningful because of the strong presence of young women alongside longtime leaders, creating a powerful cross-generational moment.
To help make the event more accessible, organizers also arranged a bus from Intown, giving attendees an opportunity to travel together and connect before the program even began.
“I’d say that last night was such a great night hearing Danielle Robay speak,” said Brooke Berman, one of the event’s co-chairs. “It was so nice to see so many amazing Jewish women from Atlanta all in one place. As a young adult, it was especially meaningful to see such strong participation from the next generation. The bus was such a cute addition this year and a great way to meet other women who were going to be at the event. I’m really honored to have been one of the co-chairs and look forward to continuing my involvement with Federation.”
The program concluded with remarks from incoming Women’s Philanthropy Vice Chair Dara Grant, who reflected on the sense of connection felt throughout the evening and encouraged women to continue engaging with Federation programs and leadership opportunities.
The Community Event for Women remains one of Federation’s signature gatherings, bringing women together across generations, neighborhoods, and life stages, and reminding everyone in the room that the future of Jewish Atlanta is built through connection, leadership, and shared responsibility.
