“Zikaron BaSalon” – זִיכָּרוֹן בַּסָּלוֹן

April 3 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

An Israeli movement keeping Holocaust survivors’ stories alive.

Zikaron BaSalon—translated as “a memory in the living room”—is an intimate gathering that began in Israel, where communities come together to hear firsthand or generational accounts of Holocaust survival. By telling these stories, we ensure that the memory of the Holocaust continues to be passed down to future generations.

Join Young Leadership Division (YLD), 3G ATL, and the Breman for a powerful evening of remembrance in honor of Yom HaShoah, Israel’s Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Our Speaker

Emily Yehezkel will share her grandfather’s story of survival and resilience, as well as her own journey in discovering the power of her voice. As a third-generation descendant of a Holocaust survivor, Emily’s storytelling highlights the vital importance of preserving and continuing this legacy, ensuring these memories are never forgotten. Through her story, Emily inspires others to find their voices and use them to make a positive impact in the world.
