Bubbe and Bams: Generations of Mahjong
Join PJ Library, Nurture, and The Missing Line for a joyful, hands-on family program celebrating stories, creativity, and the timeless game of mahjong.
The morning begins with a special reading of Bubbe and Bams by local Atlanta authors Gabby and Mark Spatt, followed by interactive activity stations designed especially for children ages 3–8.
Kids will rotate through three playful stations:
- Design a Mahjong Tile — Draw and decorate a one-of-a-kind mahjong tile.
- Mahjong Tile Cookie Decorating — Turn sweet treats into colorful tile creations.
- Build a Mahjong “Line” — Use real mahjong tiles to explore patterns and form combinations.
Whether your family already loves mahjong or is discovering it for the first time, this program offers a meaningful way to connect generations through storytelling, play, and imagination.
