“How fit do I have to be?” The answer is simple: You do not have to be an athlete in any way, shape or form. However, the streets in Panama City can be narrow and cobblestoned and there are tall stairs at several sites. Walking 4-6 miles per day on country lanes, footpaths and coastal, all on relatively flat terrain, perhaps with an occasional hill.
