Empowering Young Jewish Adults
The Young Leadership Division (YLD) of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta is dedicated to inspiring Jewish individuals aged 22-40 by fostering community building, leadership development, personal identity, and philanthropy.
Diverse Engagement Opportunities
YLD offers a variety of programs under its four pillars—LIVE (social engagement), LEAD (leadership development), SERVE (volunteer and social action), and GIVE (philanthropy)—including social gatherings, professional development, volunteer projects, and philanthropic initiatives.
Inclusive Community for All Stages of Life
Whether you’re a recent graduate, a young professional, a parent, single, married, new to Atlanta, or just passing through, YLD provides a welcoming environment to connect, build relationships, and make a meaningful impact within the Jewish community.

Philanthropy
Through philanthropic opportunities, YLD encourages members to invest in the Jewish community, ensuring a bright future for Atlanta’s Jewish population.
The Ben-Gurion Society (BGS) is a national donor recognition society for young adults (ages 22–40) who make an individual annual gift of $1,000 or more to the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta. Inspired by Israel’s first Prime Minister, David Ben-Gurion, members represent the next generation of Jewish philanthropic leadership, building a strong Jewish future in Atlanta, in Israel, and around the world.
Be part of a powerful community of Jewish young leaders who care deeply about making a difference. Members enjoy unique opportunities for learning, leadership, networking, and engagement while knowing their philanthropy creates lasting impact locally and globally.
- Special BGS Programs & Events — Intimate gatherings with dynamic speakers and thought leaders.
- Affinity Group Membership — Complimentary access to Federation affinity group programs (e.g., J-CREN, J-Tech, J-Business, etc.)
- Invitation to One Major Gift Event each year, connecting you with leading philanthropists in Atlanta.
