Join Federation for a special community briefing with our friends and partners at Kibbutz Nahal Oz, in conversation with Rich Walter, Federation’s Chief Impact Officer. This targeted webinar will offer an update on the community’s return and rebuilding efforts, including how Federation support is helping families rebuild their lives and what challenges they continue to face.
Speakers will include Eliad Eliyahu Ben Shushan, Federation Representative in Israel for Atlanta and St. Louis and Partnership Director, Yokneam and Megido-Atlanta and St. Louis, and Naomi Adler, Nahal Oz Director of Events and Culture.
We are pleased to invite community members who have supported or engaged with Federation’s Israel work, including our emergency, security, partnership, and people-to-people initiatives, to join this special briefing.

Eliad is the Federation Representative of Atlanta and St. Louis in Israel and Director of the Atlanta–St. Louis Partnership with Yokneam–Megiddo and Nahal Oz.
Previously, he served as Senior Community Shaliach across 12 U.S. Midwest communities that are connected to the Western Galilee Partnership, and as Community Shaliach in Omaha, leading educational and partnership initiatives.
Originally from Akko, Eliad is married with six children and is also a musician, creating original songs inspired by Jewish sources.
He holds BA and MA degrees in Political Science and Communications from Bar-Ilan University and was a Mandel Program for Excellence Fellow.
Naomi is 44 years old and married to Amir. Together they are raising three sons, ages 9, 8, and 4, who love soccer, LEGO, and puzzles. The family moved to Kibbutz Nahal Oz in 2017.
Naomi is a registered nurse with over 20 years of professional experience. Following the events of October 7, she transitioned into a new role and has since served as the Director of Events and Culture for Kibbutz Nahal Oz, where she leads cultural programming and community events during a period of recovery and rebuilding.
In her personal life, Naomi enjoys working out, has a passion for antiques, and appreciates good food. Family life, community, and creativity are central to both her personal and professional world.
