Join JGather at the MJCCA Book Festival for an afternoon celebrating food, storytelling, Jewish tradition, and the joy of gathering.

We’ll come together at dedicated JGather tables for a special program featuring Rebekah Lowin, author of A Year of Jewish Joy: Inspired Recipes, Rituals, and Traditions for Beautiful Celebrations. Known for her creative, modern approach to Jewish holidays, Lowin brings together recipes, rituals, traditions, and thoughtful details that make Jewish celebrations feel meaningful, welcoming, and joyful.

The program will include an author talk, Q&A, book signing, and kosher Shabbat lunch catered by A Kosher Touch. Together, we’ll explore how the ideas in A Year of Jewish Joy can inspire meaningful gatherings of our own, from holiday celebrations and Shabbat meals to simple moments of connection with friends, family, and community.

JGather participants will be entered into a raffle for complimentary copies of A Year of Jewish Joy to take home and use as inspiration for future gatherings.

This opportunity is open to previous JGather hosts who commit to hosting another Gather Grant within the next six months. Eligible hosts will receive email that includes a coupon code to purchase tickets for themselves and their guests for $36 per person through the MJCCA Book Festival registration page.
