Director of Finance
The Director of Finance leads the finance and accounting team for the Federation, the Atlanta Jewish Foundation, and a Community Health and Welfare Trust. This role is responsible for developing a cohesive, high-performance team that provides stellar service to our internal and external customers. In addition, this position ensures strong fiscal oversight (i.e. management / compliance / safeguards) and financial storytelling to support strategic business decision making across the organization.
Director of Strategic Philanthropy – Atlanta Jewish Foundation
The Atlanta Jewish Foundation is looking for a seasoned, creative, motivated, flexible, detail-oriented, and proactive Director of Strategic Philanthropy to join our efforts as we expand the ways we engage with donors in the community, integrating traditional grantmaking with innovative approaches such as impact investing and multi-generational family philanthropy. You will be designing and implementing strategies that align with the foundation’s mission, values, and long-term goals, while fostering meaningful partnerships and maximizing social impact here in Atlanta, in Israel, and the world, helping philanthropists give in alignment with their Jewish values. As a trusted philanthropic partner, you will develop sustained relationships with donors and their families and provide consultation to donors and their professional advisors to retain and grow contributions through philanthropic vehicles to meet donors’ needs. You will play a key role in helping the Atlanta Jewish Foundation fulfill its strategic milestones.
Working at the Federation as the Director of JAccess is incredibly meaningful as I know I have the resources and support needed to drive real change in an area that really matters. Many individuals with disabilities and their families face barriers navigating Jewish life. JAccess plays a vital role in bridging that gap by offering guidance, referrals, and resources that help families thrive. We don’t just talk about inclusion—we advocate for it, pushing for the systemic change necessary to make all aspects of Jewish life truly accessible and welcoming. I’m proud to be part of a team that’s transforming our community and building a more inclusive future for everyone.
