Join Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta for an afternoon designed to help teens and parents explore immersive Israel experiences and learn about the programs, funding opportunities, and pathways available to them.
Connect with representatives from programs and resources including RootOne, gap year opportunities through Masa, Birthright Israel, Journey, Onward Israel, JTeen, and individual program providers. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, meet program representatives, and hear firsthand perspectives from alumni and parents about their Israel experiences.
The program will also feature keynote speaker Eliad Eliyahu Ben Shushan.

Eliad Eliyahu Ben Shushan
Federation Representative in Israel for Atlanta and St. Louis and Partnership Director, Yokneam and Megido-Atlanta and St. Louis
Eliad is the Federation Representative of Atlanta and St. Louis in Israel and Director of the Atlanta–St. Louis Partnership with Yokneam–Megiddo and Nahal Oz.
Previously, he served as Senior Community Shaliach across 12 U.S. Midwest communities that are connected to the Western Galilee Partnership, and as Community Shaliach in Omaha, leading educational and partnership initiatives.
Originally from Akko, Eliad is married with six children and is also a musician, creating original songs inspired by Jewish sources.
He holds BA and MA degrees in Political Science and Communications from Bar-Ilan University and was a Mandel Program for Excellence Fellow.
