Parents and teens in grades 7-12 are invited to come together for a meaningful evening of volunteering, connection, and Chanukah spirit.
We’ll begin the evening with pizza and drinks. After dinner, Hershel, a Holocaust survivor, will share his story and experiences with the group.
Following Hershel’s presentation, parents and teens will work together to assemble 60 Chanukah gift bags and write personal cards for local Holocaust survivors, helping bring a little extra light and joy to members of our community this Chanukah.
The completed gift bags will be distributed to Holocaust survivors through JF&CS Atlanta.
Families can also support the project before the event by purchasing needed items from our Amazon Wish List. Can’t attend? You can still take part by purchasing an item to help fill the gift bags.
