Join us January 28 from 9:30 am – 11:00 am for an interactive professional development program with Unpacked for Educators
In this interactive session, educators will explore the challenges and opportunities of teaching about Israel in today’s complex educational landscape. Together, we’ll examine the balance between education vs. advocacy, learn how to facilitate nuanced and sometimes difficult conversations, and discuss strategies for cultivating thoughtful, informed dialogue in the classroom.
Participants will walk away with practical, adaptable tools both for their own professional practice and for guiding their teams or fellow educators. Participants will leave with concrete strategies they can use themselves and share with their colleagues, along with clear ways to bring these methods into their own classrooms.
Participants will explore:
- How to approach Israel education with clarity and intention in a complex climate
- Strategies for facilitating nuanced and sometimes difficult conversations
- Tools for cultivating thoughtful, informed dialogue among teens
- Ways to support colleagues and teams in teaching about Israel with confidence
This session emphasizes practical application, giving participants tools they can immediately use and adapt for their own classrooms and educational settings.
