Hagit Avital-Tsfany serves as the Annual Campaign Manager, leading fundraising initiatives and collaborating closely with volunteer leaders and donors to align philanthropic giving with the evolving needs of Atlanta’s Jewish community and Israel.
Prior to joining Federation, Hagit served as the Head of the Israeli Scouts of Atlanta (Tzofim), where she led a large volunteer-based organization and strengthened Jewish and Israeli engagement among families and youth. She also owned and operated an interior design business, worked as a financial analyst at Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank in Israel, and served as a school counselor, bringing together expertise in leadership, business strategy, education, and community building.
Hagit holds a BA in Psychology and Economics and an MBA from Ben-Gurion University, as well as a Master’s degree in School Counseling and a degree in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Atlanta. Her diverse professional background shapes her relationship-driven approach to community engagement and philanthropy.
Born and raised in Israel, Hagit moved to Atlanta over 20 years ago and has since developed a deep commitment to strengthening Jewish communal life locally and globally. She is passionate about supporting Israel, combating antisemitism, and expanding meaningful Jewish experiences that foster a vibrant and connected Jewish future for generations to come.
