Leetal Shalik is the Managing Director of the Annual Campaign, where she leads strategy and partnership efforts to advance Federation’s mission. She collaborates closely with volunteer leaders and donors to connect their philanthropy with the evolving needs of Atlanta’s Jewish community and Israel. She is especially committed to strengthening Atlanta Jewry, supporting Israel, and expanding meaningful Jewish experiences for future generations. An Atlanta native, Leetal is grateful to raise her family in the community that shaped her.
Before joining Federation, she worked in television production with NBC, Warner Bros., and People Magazine, interviewing global figures and producing stories nationwide. While those roles were formative, she finds the conversations she now has within her own community far more meaningful. Leetal holds a BA in Political Science from The George Washington University and a Master’s in Communication from Tel Aviv University. Having lived in Tel Aviv, Los Angeles, and New York, she values the diverse perspective those experiences provided—and the deep roots she maintains in Atlanta. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the city with her husband and two young children, discovering new restaurants, and traveling as a family.
