Noa

My name is Noa, and I’m so excited to be a Shinshinit in Atlanta this year! I live in the Golan Heights, in a moshav called Yonatan, which I really love. I’m the oldest of four siblings, and I live with my parents, siblings, and our cute dog. My family loves to travel, and ever since I was little, we’ve spent our holidays traveling around Israel and camping together. I really love cooking and baking, traveling, taking pictures, reading, and spending time with my friends. I was a counselor in Bnei Akiva, where I worked with different age groups. It was an amazing experience that taught me a lot, and I really enjoyed it. I’m also active in the youth group in my moshav, where we organize projects, trips, and volunteering. I was also part of Diller, a leadership program that connects religious and secular Israelis and creates connections between Jews in Israel and around the world. Through Diller, I learned about the opportunity to do this gap year, and I’m very grateful for it. In high school, my major was art. I also worked for four years at a daycare in my moshav and did some agricultural work. After the army, I dream of traveling around the world, seeing new places, and getting to know different cultures.

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be a Shinshinit in Atlanta, meet all of you and the community, and share my Israeli story. I’m sure it’s going to be an amazing year!
