Sarah Freeman
Interfaith Engagement Connector
Sarah Freeman serves as Federation’s Interfaith Connector, a role dedicated to supporting, celebrating, and strengthening interfaith relationships within the Atlanta Jewish community. Atlanta-born and raised, Sarah has been deeply rooted in Jewish life at every stage—from childhood through adulthood—and brings both personal experience and professional compassion to her work.
In addition to her role at Federation, Sarah works as a Physician Assistant in urgent care, where empathy, communication, and care are at the center of everything she does. Her passion for interfaith engagement grew from her own experience navigating an interfaith relationship and recognizing how challenging it can be to find community, resources, and guidance along the way. Rather than feeling discouraged, Sarah leaned in—researching, learning, and connecting with interfaith organizations to intentionally build a meaningful Jewish life and home.
Sarah believes interfaith relationships are a growing and vital part of the Jewish community and that everyone deserves to feel seen, supported, and included. She is especially passionate about helping individuals and families find their place, ask questions, and build connections rooted in shared values. As Interfaith Connector, Sarah serves as a welcoming touchpoint—ready to listen, learn, and help foster a strong, inclusive community for all.
