Taggel

Schoenbaum Shinshinit

My name is Taggel, and I’m really happy to come to Atlanta this year. I live in Alon Shvut, a warm community near Jerusalem. I’m the youngest of five siblings. Three of my older siblings are married and currently studying at university, and another is serving in the army. During the war, my father and all of my brothers served in the reserves. I studied at Ulpanat Neve Hanna and loved it there!! I studied advanced physics, literature, Gemara, and civics, and I also took part in the Etrog program for Jewish and Torah studies. I really love music, and it is a big part of my life. I love listening to music, and I have been playing piano and guitar for many years. I also studied theater twice a week at Jerusalem Youth Theatre and really loved it, and I got the chance to perform in several plays. I also really enjoy traveling, painting, and playing sports, and I’m a fan of Hapoel Jerusalem basketball 🙂 For the past few years, I was a Bnei Akiva counselor and got the chance to do really cool projects and become very close to my group. I regularly take part in women’s prayer on Shabbat, where I read from the Torah with teamim 🙂

I’m really excited to come to Atlanta and meet you!
