Secure Community Network
Federation works alongside the Secure Community Network (SCN) to help protect Jewish Atlanta through security training, emergency preparedness, and coordinated support for synagogues, schools, community centers, and organizations across our region.
How We Keep Jewish Atlanta Safe
1

Security Enhancements

We strengthen security infrastructure at Jewish institutions through assessments, surveillance recommendations, access controls, and emergency preparedness planning.

2

Training & Preparedness

We provide trainings, drills, and educational resources that equip staff, volunteers, and community members to recognize threats and respond confidently during emergencies.

3

Incident Reporting & Threat Coordination

In partnership with law enforcement and national security networks, we help monitor threats, coordinate responses, and encourage community-wide reporting of suspicious activity.

4

Grant & Funding Support

We assist organizations in securing federal and local funding for critical safety upgrades, including cameras, barriers, alarms, and security personnel.

5

Community Partnership

Security is a shared responsibility. We work closely with Jewish institutions, law enforcement, and national partners to build a safer, more resilient Jewish Atlanta.

This video shares the voice of a security officer on the front lines; watching, observing, and building relationships to ensure families can gather without fear. With over 75 Jewish facilities in Greater Atlanta, safety is a shared effort powered by community, vigilance, and support.
