About David Zalik
David Zalik is an American entrepreneur, philanthropist and partner of Goldman Sachs. He was born in Israel and grew up in America.
David founded GreenSky, the largest point of sale credit platform in America in 2006, took it public in 2018 and sold the company to Goldman Sachs in 2022.
In 2018, David co-founded the Zalik Foundation which has granted over $100 million to date for education, children and families in need, behavioral mental health, and Jewish communities in the U.S and Israel.
David started his first business at age 14. He never attended high school nor graduated from college, opting to pursue entrepreneurial ventures.
David is a proud believer in Democracy and Capitalism and supports a strong U.S. – Israel relationship. He is a recipient of the Ernst & Young National Financial Services Entrepreneur of the Year Award, which he earned in 2016.
David resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his incredible wife Helen and three magnificent daughters.
