October 27: Reflecting on a Year of Heartbreak, Resilience, and Hope

October 27 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

We invite the entire Atlanta community to participate in our upcoming experiential event to honor and remember the events of October 7th. All Jewish Atlanta organizations are collaborating together to bring you this meaningful and inclusive program.

This event will be both experiential and educational. It will feature an expo of ways to engage with Israel, educational sessions led by community experts, hands on activities, and a ceremony honoring the victims. There will be programs for teens, adults, and programming for families with young children from 3-5 pm.

What is the program schedule?

The Program Schedule Is As Follows: 

  • 1:45 pm: Doors Open
  • 2:00-2:30 pm: Walk through art exhibit 
  • 2:30-3:00 pm: Ceremony 
  • 3:00-5:00 pm: Breakout Rooms and Israel Expo 
  • Breakout Session A: 3:10-3:55 pm
  • Breakout Session B: 4:05-4:50 pm

Sessions will be led by local Rabbinic leaders, Unpacked, Tzofim (Israeli Scouts), StandWithUs, as well as interactive art projects to support Nachal Oz and our local Jewish community. 

The event will also feature a space dedicated to families with young children from 3-5 pm. 

Everyone must either print or have confirmation of registration email on your phone.

What is the parking situation?

There is a large public parking lot on site, but there will not be event-provided extended parking once it fills up. If possible, please carpool, take public transportation, or use Uber/Lyft.

What security plans are in place?

Everyone must either print or have confirmation of registration email on your phone.

There will be security in place to ensure the safety of all attendees.

Can attendees bring bags?

For security reasons, only clear bags will be allowed into the event.
