Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta and Partnership 2Gether are looking for four young adults, ages 20-25, from Atlanta to be counselors in a three-week summer day camp in Yokneam-Megido.
As counselors, you will bring the real American summer camp experience to Israeli camp through music, games and special activities. On a typical day, you will spend your morning at camp with 40 4th-6th graders, helping them strengthen and practice their English language skills alongside Israeli counselors. In the evenings you will experience life in the region and the locals through a variety of volunteer work an social activities. You will have the opportunity to tour Israel with new friends from the area as well as visit other partnership regions in Israel.
Before camp, you’ll participate in a one-week orientation where you will help prepare the community center, meet other camp staff, volunteers, and key people in the community.
Camp hours are Sunday-Thursday 8 am-1 pm at the Yokneam Community Center.
Round trip airfare is included in the program. Host families accommodation and a small stipend will be provided to all counselors.

- June 24-29 – Orientation in Yokneam, Israel
- July 1-20 – Enjoy your time at camp!
