Heather Blake has been a Jewish communal professional for fourteen years and is passionate about Jewish education. Heather started as Domestic Partnership Manager at the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta (JFGA) in August 2023.
Before working at JFGA, Heather was the Director of Engagement at Congregation Etz Chaim in Marietta, GA for six years. In this role, she worked on both in-reach within the congregation and outreach to create partnerships in the Jewish community and beyond. Heather has been an active volunteer for Limmud Atlanta & Southeast in various leadership roles and was honored to be co-chair of LimmudFest for the past two years. Heather received her dual Master of Arts in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies and Jewish Professional Leadership from Brandeis University and a master’s concentration in Israel Education from the iCenter for Israel Education in 2015. After completing undergraduate school at Florida State University (FSU) in 2008, Heather worked as a Program Director at Temple Israel in Tallahassee, Florida for five years. Heather is married to Justin Blake, and they have a four-year-old daughter named Shira.
