Joel has been raising funds for the Jewish Community for almost 20 years in both Memphis and Atlanta. She has been a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) for 6 years. Joel’s responsibilities include working with major donors and managing the J-CREN and J-TECH affinity groups and the fundraising efforts for the Jewish Camp Initiative and Gather Grants.
Joel received the 2017 Professional of the Year Award from the Association of Jewish Aging Services and the 2017 Outstanding Fundraising Executive Crystal Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Memphis Chapter. She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.S. in Business Administration and a concentration in Marketing.
In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her family (especially her granddaughter), taking pilates classes, and dinners out with friends.
