The mayors of the cities in our Israel Partnership region are remarkable men! Mayor Simon Alfasi, of Yokneam, and Itzik Holavsky, head of the Regional Council of Megiddo, are committed to making life better for their citizens. Both men have a passion to accelerate the quality of life for the Ethiopian olim (immigrants) in their communities and to create more opportunities for educational and economic advancement in their region.
