Helping Families Find Camps & Making Jewish Camp Accessible

JCamping (Previously known as Jewish Camp Initiative) brings the magic of Jewish summer camps to life, blending fun, friendships, and adventure with Jewish values, traditions, and culture. These immersive experiences help young people build lifelong connections, gain confidence, and develop skills that shape their Jewish identities. Campers return home with lasting memories and a stronger bond to their heritage, making them more likely to embrace Jewish practices as adults. By supporting JCamping, you’re ensuring more kids can experience the transformative power of Jewish camp and stay connected to Judaism for a lifetime.

JCamping Impact

This summer, the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta JCamping team had the privilege of spending time at camp, getting a firsthand look at the profound impact the camp experience has on campers, directors, and counselors alike.

Helping Families Find the Right Overnight Camp

We know that choosing a camp is a personal and important decision, which is why Federation’s Camp Concierge provides free, personalized guidance to help Atlanta families find the right Jewish overnight camp, including campers with special needs.

Camp Stories

Thank you so much for giving me the chance to go to camp year and year again. While this may have been the last year for me as a camper, I feel the need to go back again and give the same/better experience to another kid. This is all because of you and the work you put into letting me come to camp. Because of you I have had experiences I will remember forever, and friends that will last me a lifetime. Thank you so much!
