Hi!

I’m Tal Hanin, and I’m going to be a Shinshinim in Atlanta, starting this summer!

I’m 17 and currently in my final year of high school. I live in Kfar Saba in central Israel with my family. There are my parents, Harel and Orli, and my 3 brothers. Guy, my elder brother, studies in Jerusalem, my older brother Dan serves in the army, and my younger brother Ram is a middle schooler.

In school I majored in chemistry and history, and also wrote a seminary work about the U.S.-China relations. I like spending my time listening to music and playing guitar, reading and writing stories of my own, and hanging out with my friends and family, who I’m very close to. I also like doing Muay Thai (Thai kickboxing), which I’ve been practicing for 6 years now, and also hitting the gym and just learning about topics that interest me like history, philosophy, and many others.

I feel very connected to Judaism, Israel, and the importance of connection between Israel and the many Jewish communities abroad, which is why I’m very excited to meet all of you and get to know each other!
