In December, more than 50 women from Atlanta traveled to Phoenix for the International Lion of Judah Conference. One of the speakers was Michael Masters, National Director & CEO of the Secure Community Network, who addressed the worldwide battle against antisemitism and hate crimes, as well as the importance of community preparedness.
Motivated by this compelling talk, Women’s Philanthropy would like to offer our community of women in Atlanta a life-saving tool: a free threat-preparedness/active shooter training seminar.
Neil Rabinovitz, Atlanta’s Community Security Director, will lead this vital informational session. In 2022, Rabinovitz was announced as a recipient of a U.S. Attorney’s Award in recognition of the work he does every day with partners city-wide to keep our community safe. Federation is proud to fund the position of Community Security Director for the entirety of Atlanta’s Jewish community. Synagogues, day schools, supplemental learning centers, and more are protected thanks to our partnership with the Secure Community Network.
You can take action to protect yourself and save a life. Attend this crucial training session to learn how.
