PJ Library Atlanta is partnering with Lost Tribe to provide Minecraft programs that are engaging, interactive, collaborative, and innovative Jewish programming. Kids aged 8-12 gather in a safe, virtual setting facilitated by a Lost Tribe Minecraft Counselor. This program is designed to fully engage children in respectful competition and does NOT require parent or guardian participation.
Each counselor will lead a group of kids through a series of interactive games and fun Jewish experiences focusing on Hanukkah, Maccabiah, and Rosh Chodesh. Participants can register for one, two, or three sessions. The cost is $18 per registration and includes all three sessions.
The programs will begin at 1:30 pm and will end at 3:30 pm. We will begin each program with a Zoom meeting and a brief tech session – a way to ensure that all participants will be able to meet digitally with the group. Once registered you will receive directions on how to connect to the Lost Tribe server; we ask all families to try to follow these steps before the program begins.
The Zoom link to join the programs will be sent out closer to the program start date.
Tech requirements for this program: download Minecraft software on a computer, Chromebook, iPad, tablet, or mobile device (consoles can not be used for this programming e.g. switch, xbox) and connect to the Lost Tribe server. Directions to do this will be on the confirmation page after registering and will also be sent out before the programs begin.
Lost tribe is a proud partner of the Jewish Education Collaborative, a division of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta.
