Helping More Kids Go to Camp!
The Jewish Camp Initiative inspires families to choose Jewish overnight camp for their children, increasing the likelihood that they will continue to live active Jewish lives. We believe that Jewish overnight camp is an experience every kid should have! We want to send as many kids from Jewish Atlanta to Jewish overnight camp every summer as possible! Here are some of the ways we help make overnight Jewish camp more affordable:
One Happy Camper Grants
First-time campers who are attending camp for 11-18 days may be eligible to receive $700, and campers attending camp for 19 days+ may be eligible to receive $1000 off their first summer at camp. Jewish day school students are eligible in Atlanta! Grants are first come, first served and are NOT based on financial need. Second year grants are also available, with an income limit.
Federation’s Scholarship Program helps families with the cost of overnight camp tuition. Camp scholarships are available to all families, no matter what income. Applications are reviewed by a Scholarship Committee as part of an anonymous review and allocations process. All applications and inquiries are confidential. Camp scholarships open each fall.
